No. The PSBT Student Checking Account has no monthly service fees, no transaction limits, and no minimum balance requirements. It requires a $25 minimum opening deposit.

What happens to my PSBT student account when I turn 22?

When a PSBT Student Checking Account holder turns 22, the account automatically converts to a standard adult checking product. The original account number and debit card remain unchanged.

Does PSBT offer financial literacy programs for high school students?

Yes. The PSBT Scholars Program, offered in partnership with EverFi, provides a free, interactive, web-based financial literacy curriculum to local high schools. Topics include credit scores, credit card use, mortgages, student loans, and budgeting.

Does PSBT offer student loans?

PSBT partners with the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) to offer the PA Forward Student Loan and Keystone Student Loan programs. These state-based loans feature competitive fixed rates and no fees.
