PSBT Adds Two Experienced Banking Leaders to Western Pennsylvania Team

Peoples Security Bank & Trust is pleased to announce the addition of two experienced banking professionals to its Western Pennsylvania team. Gary Ford has joined the Bank as Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager of its North Allegheny office, and Jason Ratkovich has joined as Senior Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer.

The appointments add more than 50 years of combined banking experience to Peoples Security Bank & Trust’s retail and commercial banking teams and reinforce the bank’s commitment to serving customers and businesses throughout the region.

Ford leads the bank’s North Allegheny office at 300 Warrendale Village Drive in Warrendale. In his role, he oversees daily branch operations, local sales and business development, community outreach, and the branch’s customer service team. His priorities include expanding the North Allegheny office and strengthening the bank’s relationships throughout the Cranberry area.

Ford brings more than 25 years of financial services experience, including leadership positions in banking and credit unions.

A graduate of Ambridge Area High School, Ford earned a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in competitive intelligence from Robert Morris University. He also completed the Judge Bradley Leadership School.

Ford has a long history of community involvement in Beaver County and Western Pennsylvania. He is a member of the New Brighton Rotary Club and previously served as president of the Ambridge and Aliquippa Rotary clubs. He also serves as assistant governor for Rotary District 7305 and is a board member of Friends of Old Economy and the 1950s Ambridge Alumni Scholarship Committee. His community involvement also includes Divine Redeemer St. James Parish and the Baden Borough Parks and Recreation Board. He resides in Baden, PA.

Ratkovich joined Peoples Security Bank & Trust in July 2026 as senior vice president, commercial loan officer. In his role, he develops and manages relationships with commercial and middle-market companies throughout Western Pennsylvania, with a focus on supporting local businesses and expanding the bank’s commercial banking relationships in the region.

Ratkovich brings more than 25 years of commercial banking experience, including senior-level positions with financial institutions in the Pittsburgh region. Throughout his career, he has helped businesses across a range of industries finance growth, acquisitions, capital investments, commercial real estate, and working capital needs. His background includes commercial lending, relationship management, credit analysis, portfolio management, and business development.

Ratkovich is also a graduate of Ambridge Area High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Slippery Rock University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He also holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials and Series 79 credentials. He resides in Center Township, PA.

“Gary and Jason bring extensive banking experience and strong ties to Beaver County and the greater Western Pennsylvania market,” said Chris Savena, market president, Peoples Security Bank & Trust. “Their relationships, market knowledge and commitment to community banking will be valuable as we continue growing our presence and delivering trusted financial solutions to individuals and businesses throughout the region.”
