At Peoples Security Bank, we are committed to the safety and well-being of our customers, employees and the communities we serve. As part of that commitment we are proactively managing concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19. We continue to monitor the evolving health situation and are enhancing resources and efforts as it becomes necessary to effectively serve you. Our focus, as always, is to provide the highest quality service to our customers.

Branch Updates

EFFECTIVE TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2020: Effective December 1st, access will be limited to drive-up window service for those locations with drive-up capabilities. Customers will still be able to access safe deposit boxes, loan closings and other products & services by appointment. We will make every effort to meet all customer appointment requests in a very prompt and timely manner. In addition, staff members will be available to assist customers by telephone during regular business hours. We ask that all routine transactions be conducted through our drive-thru facilities for your protection as well as the protection of our employees.

The health and safety of our customers, employees and communities we serve will always remain a top priority for Peoples Security Bank & Trust. As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Bank has taken numerous measures over the past nine months to ensure everyone’s safety and security. At this time, the Bank has decided to make changes to our branch services based on the most recent surge in positive COVID-19 cases. We are taking these necessary precautions to safeguard our branch offices while continuing our daily operations.

The Bank will continue to closely monitor and follow the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the State Department of Health, while continuing daily banking operations, to ensure we are providing the safest possible environment for our customers and employees. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.

(1) Must be currently enrolled in PSBT Online Banking in order to use our Mobile Banking Services. (2) $5.00 will be deposited into your primary checking account upon enrollment verification on ALL eligible deposit accounts. Eligible deposit accounts include checking, savings and money market accounts. Limit of one bonus per person. PSBT employees and their immediate family members do not qualify. On joint accounts, limit of one bonus credited to the primary account holder. Must be currently enrolled in PSBT Online Banking in order to receive eStatements. Offer valid 11/2/20 – 12/31/20. (3) Must be currently enrolled in PSBT Mobile Banking in order to use our RDA service. Some restrictions apply.

Safety Protocols

For your safety and that of our employees, we are following the guidelines as advocated by the State Health Departments and the CDC.

We ask that all routine transactions be conducted through our drive-thru facilities for your protection as well as the protection of our employees.
    • We are encouraging customers to continue utilizing our drive-up services and/or our digital bank services whenever possible. Please only enter the branch lobby (by appointment only) for necessary transactions, such as: account opening, loan closing, safe deposit access, etc. Additionally, please be sure to have your transactions ready upon arrival.
    • Face masks are required while on bank premises.

  • Consumer & Home Loan Relief Program - For those who are directly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, you can defer your monthly loan payments for up to 90 days. Click here for more information.
  • Early CD Withdrawal - To assist customers with financial hardships during the pandemic, we will allow customers to withdraw up to $5,000 from their CD prior to maturity, without penalty. For details, please contact your local branch.
