At Peoples Security Bank, we are committed to the safety and well-being of our customers, employees and the communities we serve. As part of that commitment we are proactively managing concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19. We continue to monitor the evolving health situation and are enhancing resources and efforts as it becomes necessary to effectively serve you. Our focus, as always, is to provide the highest quality service to our customers.


Branch Updates

As of Wednesday, July 8, the following branch lobbies are now open to the public with safety protocols in place: Abington, Airport Rd, Binghamton West Side, Central City Scranton, Central PA Business Center, Conklin, East Scranton, Emrick Blvd, Glenburn, Green Ridge, Hallstead Plaza, Hop Bottom, King of Prussia, Kingston, Meshoppen, Minooka, Montrose, Moscow, Mount Pocono, Nicholson, Old Forge, Peckville, Susquehanna, Tilghman St and Tunkhannock. We are diligently working to reopen other offices as soon as possible. We will continue to update this page with more information as it becomes available.

(1) Must be currently enrolled in PSBT Online Banking in order to use our Mobile Banking Services. (2) Must be currently enrolled in PSBT Online Banking in order to receive eStatements. IRA Accounts are not eligible for eStatements. (3) Must be currently enrolled in PSBT Mobile Banking in order to use our RDA service. Some restrictions apply.

Safety Protocols

For your safety and that of our employees, as we begin to reopen we will be following the guidelines as advocated by the State Health Departments and the CDC. 

  • We are encouraging customers to continue utilizing our drive-up services and/or our digital bank services whenever possible. Please only enter the branch lobby for necessary transactions, such as: account opening, loan closing, safe deposit access, etc. Additionally, please be sure to have your transactions ready upon entering.
  • Face masks are required while on bank premises. 
  • Specific in-branch hours will be dedicated to senior citizens and high-risk customers. Early morning branch hours until 10:00 AM at each location will be reserved for customers over age 65 or those at high risk.
  • We are limiting the capacity of customers in each office so that we can continue to distance from each other as much as possible.

  • Consumer & Home Loan Relief Program - For those who are directly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, you can defer your monthly loan payments for up to 90 days. Click here for more information.
  • Early CD Withdrawal - To assist customers with financial hardships during the pandemic, we will allow customers to withdraw up to $5,000 from their CD prior to maturity, without penalty. For details, please contact your local branch.
